Provides poison control information and education for people who treat victims of poisoning and for the general public to prevent poisoning accidents. Offers information to consumers and health professionals on medications, medicinal herbs, venomous animals (snake bites, bee stings, etc.), plants, and pet poisoning. Also provides poison prevention materials and classes to the community. Conducts research on poison management. Serves all of Arizona except Maricopa County, which is served by Banner - University Medical Center Phoenix.
