Description

Provides shelter for lost and stray animals and offers them for adoption. Sells dog licenses. Investigates reports of cruelty to animals, including inadequate food, water, shelter, medical attention, abandonment, and being left inside hot motor vehicles. Will pick up dead animals on public property and accepts dead pets that are brought in. Enforces laws pertaining to animal control and provides public education programs.
